For third grade math, students will be using Saxon Math. Your child will now have a Saxon book and one daily assignment. Any classwork that is not completed in class will be assigned for homework. Ample time will be given to complete daily assignments. In addition to a Saxon Lesson, students will participate in math game centers and will receive small group remediation when needed. Students are expected to practice their multiplication facts at home. I teach multiplication facts in the following sequence: 0-1, 2, 5, 10, 11, 3, 4, 9, 6, 7, 8. Multiplication fact cards can be purchased at any Dollar General or made using cardstock to help with practice at home. I have included some math website that your child may go to to play math games.
